Texstar Pads too Hard

My SAAB 9000CSE came standard with Texstar pads and ATE rotors. They were great, and lasted over 50K even in New York/Long Island stop and go. But they create nasty dust and, due to their hardness, they wear the rotors.

I am not familiar with the brand of rotor you mentioned. I have had good luck with Brembo, Zimmermann and ATE rotors. You could also try a softer pad like the PBR organic. It will wear faster, but it may not conflict as much with the rotor. I have used these Austrailian-made pads for a few years on various cars and I have never experienced brake squeal or excessive dust. But they don't last even a third as long as semi-metallic pads like the Texstar.
