1995 E320 W124 Built in phone success

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've gotten good info on this board and although there are other phone threads I thought I'd add some current info.
Here's how I got the phone working on a pay-as-you-go plan (very shortened version):
Dialed 611 on the phone and got ATT Wireless. I gave them the ESN and they started a pay-as-you-go plan for me.
Went to my local ATT Wireless store where a long time employee was able to program the phone. It took a while but he was able to remember all the steps.
Charged up my account with a $25 card since they only last 3 months and this is strictly a convenience account.
It all works.
Some other info:
- The guy at the store said it was good that I had gotten the account activated with a CSR already. He said there was no way he could activate a new analog account.
- When he looked up my already created account it said I had a V60 Motorola which is a modern digital handset and certainly not a 3 watt trunk mounted analog phone. Perhaps this helped in getting the account created.
- To program the phone he pressed FCN then thirteen 0's ( 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0) and then RCL
- Use the * to step through the settings. Changed the area code (step 2) and phone # (step 3). Google for "motorola bible" for more settings.
- Press SND to store the settings but it you have to be on step 1 (wrap around from the last step).
- The previous owner had had the phone working with service but it was discontinued when I purchased the car.
