The reason you see no marks on the sprockets is the cam marks are not on the sprockets. Look at the camshafts and the first cam towers directly behind the sprockets. A line on the cam towers and a notch on the cam, different places on both sides but quite similar. The diagram herein that you were linked to is all the info you need.

Don't worry about the distributor sprocket, all it does is run the distributor, easy enough to pull the distributor and retime it if needed.
