Sounds like a great car. And now you know one of the most important things--how much the dealer paid. Use that knowledge to get a better price.

It never ceases to amaze me that the dealers can get cars like that for next to nothing AND they bring them the car AND they make money on the new one.

I'm a 123/617 diehard fan, but I'd jump on that one due to its history. If the lady was willing to give up the mechanics name there can't be anything major wrong with it. At least you wouldn't think so.
