I have seen Auschwitz and you come out with an undescribable feeling. First impression was that the town (Oswiecim, pronounced "oshvienchym") its located in was very dull. Its more or less a "boony" like what you would expect in the US. At the main train station there were buses that took you to the camp or you could just take a taxi. Those who visit the site will learn more about it than what the "history books" here teach.

Its shameful that such a percentage never heard of Auschwitz. Whats also shameful that the other half that did hear about the death camp think that only Jews were killed there... and the millions of non-Jews of various ethnicties are forgotten.
