Job done -

finished replacing the chain/link this afternoon. Really quite easy. I use "tie-wraps" to always keep the chain against the sprocket and had to "relocate" tie wraps about 5 times. Oh yea I crimped the link like the good book says.
Thanks for the advise/words of wisdom everyone.

I am replacing the tensioner and tensioner spring while I am in there.
