I am 1.88m (and do not know how tall that is in US sizes).
The 1964 230SL (113) has seats that can only be adjusted in the length (front/rear) and when the seat is set in the outmost rear, I have a comfortable position in that car. The steering wheel, however, is a bit too large, but no serious problem with that.
The 1986 300SL (107) hast seats that can be adjusted in length and height. When I set the seat in the lowest position and set it in the outmost rear, I have a reasonable position in that car.
The backrest of the seat cannot be set back too far, because of the B-style being way too close by. The windscreen is placed too close to the steering wheel.
I think that mercedes changed the seats of the W107 in 1985 (with the slight model change) by adding some serious height adjustment...
The 1990 300SL (129) is a lot bigger. The seats can be adjusted in every possible direction and I feel very comfortable in that car!
The 1996 SLK200 (170) has better seats and more room as the 107 SL. The top of this car is a little nearby, but lots of legroom (comparable with the 129).
greetingz,
