Hi all,

I am trying to replace the rubber bumpers under the upper control arms on my 1973 280SE 4.5. I'm having a devil of a time getting the new ones in place. Do I need to loosen the upper control arm enough to swing it out of the way? Or...? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I've spent 3 hours trying to get the one in place with no luck.
