How do I get to the fuel tank level sender? I want to overhaul it (and hope that will cure my erratic fuel guage readings) but I can't seem to find a way to access it.

I was told it was through the first-aid kit door, but there doesn't seem to be any access there.

I have an 85 126 (500SE). Any and all advice will be muchly appreciated!
