If you will refer to the faciory manual, you will find that you flush twice after the degreasing solution, and three times after the acid(decalcifaction,derusting) solution. And don't forget to remove the thermostat before starting the flushing procedure. You won't have to rinse it before you replace it. Another thing you won't have to worry about,is getting the citric acid(lemon acid)on your hands. It will not hurt you. Have you ever grated lemons to make real old fashion lemonade, or watched your mother while she grated the lemones. No lost hands or fingers.
Whoever posted awhile back about the evil effects of citric acid and warned us about not getting any on our hands, must have confused it with sulfuric (battery acid). Now that is something that can be detrimental to your skin and clothing.
