Alternative # 2 is get a second NIC and set up a bridge in the same PC I had it working once and liked it. Only Win 2k and up though.

The reason I'm betting on a Belkin router is that they notoriously have trouble renewing IP's.

Have you upgraded the firmware for the router?

Have you checked your router manufacture's white papers?
