In
this thread I commented about some intermittent nailing that I was experiencing.
Well this morning it was 40°F in Waterloo, plenty cold enough to have had some nailing going on. However, I'm running about a B-80 level of biodiesel right now. No nailing. Period.
In other news, based on info from another thread and in looking at the way the ALDA/smoke control works, I'm now running the ALDA with the setscrew backed out all the way to the stop...there's no smoke and she pulls from idle like an elecric motor; no specific point where the boost digs in. I'm thinking the next thing is to find some ALDA shims and raise that thing up a notch or two.
