I'm in much the same condition. I have cleaned the banjo bolts and the tubing. The boost bypass is bypassed (sin committed by PO; I'll fix it once I see a cloud of black smoke). The ADLA adjustment is CCW to the stop.

At full throttle, from a dead stop, with the engine warm, I see a wisp of black smoke in daylight. Only a wisp. From all the ADLA threads, I believe that I should be seeing billowing clouds of wasted diesel fuel.

My next step is a boost gauge, to verify that the turbocharger is actually turbocharging. Suggestions would be welcomed.
