I have warm nailing at light throttle between 1000 and 1800 rpm, little throttle and it's gone. Little smoke, good power and 25ish mpg, it can nail for awhile as far as I'm concerned. Any good additive will shut it up, stuff like MMO from the other thread will I imagine as well. It's the measure of the quality of an injector how well it resists nailing on crapy fuel I've always thought.
I don't think I've ever heard my VW's nail, there so damn noisy to start with.
