You could try some of that Guarantee to Pass stuff the auto parts stores sell. Or rubbing alcohol will make any old beater pass.

Disclaimer use alcohol at your own risk!!!!! I have no idea how the parts for a fuel injected engine will react. But it works well with carbs.

Or you could try to fix it, I would try to fix ir if I was going to keep it.
