Brake caliper rebuild

Well, the brake job lead to caliper issues. They were both bad. RR was stuck 'on' on outer RR pad, LR caliper just deteriorated, but I think was working. Kit was easy to install, and let me tell you something. It doesn't take much air pressure at all to pop out the caliper pistons. I was skeptical, but they shoot out with purpose. You just have to figure out a way to get them BOTH to pop out.
The Skinnerbox link to service manual said NOT to seperate the caliper halves, so I didn't. That makes it a pain to clean out the rust and debris where the pistons go, but with scotchbrite it will eventually come off OK. As long as it isn't pitted when you remove the rust.
Like I said, it was easy and cheap ($10.81) for the kit. The new caliper for the RR came from O'Rielly's, and was $41.00. I broke a piston on that one before I tried the air method of removal. My mistake, but being that stuck it was probably just as well.
