Yeah, I maintain servers at home (one inside the firewall, and one outside), too. I've thought about colocating, but its not worth the cost for me right now. I also maintain 3 domains on a shared host, which is fairly cost effective, and means I don't have to worry about DSL downtime and stuff like that.
And besides, I don't want the majority of my traffic going over the DSL, cause I've got other plans for that bandwidth. My pipes are pretty fat, 1.5M down/384kb up, but it could be better.
But if someone is just getting used to their digicam, they probably aren't ready to colocate.
