I've completed the 3.07 to 2.88 swap in Lilly and I have to say at cruise, a 6% reduction in RPM doesn't really turn out to be all that much. On the plus side, there's no noticeable loss of performance on acceleration.

This particular swap probably isn't worth the effort, IMHO.
