I've about given up hope on installing a factory tach. I just don't have the time to go around and find all the darn pieces. So I'm probably going aftermarket.

Now, I don't really know how a diesel tach works anyway but I saw a post about this one:

Seems kinda hokey and I'm sure it can measure SOMETHING, but actual RPM?

Anyone have any recommendations for an aftermarket tach. The tinytach's main advantage is cost and size.
