There are several spots that will casue the throttle linkages to stick. My belief that set up was designed by a room of engineer that did not talk to each other. The linkages start on the left side infront of the pedal on the engine side of the firewall. Check that the round bushing on the bush rod is not worn. from there it travels across behind the air cleaner then goes down to the transmission also check to makes sure all the brass bushings are in place and not worn on each and every bell crank. Past the air cleaner on the right side will be another bell crank which changes the direction to the front of the engine. Each segment is attached by a ball type connection just pull them off and lubricate each ball end. Note lubrication will attract dirt so be as conservative as possible. Also make sure it is not the crusie control cause the probelm. Once you get the air cleaner assemble it will pretty clear
