Don't know much about that company, but do be wary of overseas buyers. As you stated, there are all sorts of scams... I would take a 10 or 20% hit on the sale to avoid dealing with that headache. I think shipping vehicles accross the pond takes forever and a day, which if you use an escrow service could hold your money up indefinitely, and has all kinds of hidden costs that the buyer could turn around and ask you to help pay. Plus, if something does not meet Italian specs he may ask you to help pay to make it right, etc... Headache!

I had a sidecar for my Vespa shipped in a motorcycle crate from CA by Forward Air. They were cheap, but I think they are just major airport to major airport. I had to drive to Indy to pick it up... well worth the savings, though.
