my two cents
about a month ago i was putting some oil in the engine... at some point, i somehow managed to drip a little on my door handle. i said, "ooh, what a nice, pretty black color!" so i spread it around on the handle... it still looks great.
i'd seen this thread before and soon after doing the motor oil thing (with only one handle) i really wanted to try the peanut oil on the balance of the trim. since i didn't have any around, i thought i'd try mineral oil... worked great!
