Steve, I really don't know much about the 4 cyl motors beyond the number of cylinder, spark plugs valves ( 4-4-8). I was hoping you could be the guy to help this fella and educate me as well. The only reason I mentioned carb was I happened to see a 4 cyl section in one of my repair manuals and it had a section on carburetors.
