My 1980 300sd developed a door opening problem today.

When unlocked, it is necessary to go through another door and open the drivers side door from the inside.

The vacuum is working on all the doors including the drivers door.

Every now and then, if I pull it quickly and very hard, the door will unlock but more often than not, even that does not work.

Is this something that is easy to fix myself?
