Hey there G,
I don't know much about MB audio, but I know alot abwwwut audio in general. If you are looking for a fiber optic cable to go from your trunk to your deck, it implies that you have an optic out on your cd transport-which means it has a digital out..and it has a converter from digital to optic..and that means your built in amp has a converter from optic to digital and the built in D/A converter puts it to analog. This I find hard to believe but not impossible. Are you sure this is what you are looking for? If so, cool. By my standards that is alot of processing and question whether that is the best route for sound quality but that is up to you. If you are sure that the changer you are looking to buy has an optical out, make sure that your amp or reciever has an optical in. Installation should be a snap in any case but I would bet that what you need are analog cables..If we are talking dvd it is a different case. Either way, look at www.partsexpress.com they have tons of proaudio stuff for cheap.
peace, opossum
