HOMELINK systems on MB's after 1998 are different from the system that the 1996-97 cars HAD!!
Homelink systems (rolling code) require you to program the OPENER at your house to the signal coming from the sender in the car! ALSO the opener at your house MUST be made after 1996 & have rolling code style of opener!
