Out of pure curiosity, how many miles does your 420 have? We have one that is displaying similar oil pressure problems with 129,000 miles. We know that the problem is the oil pump though due to the "chatter" when warmed up at an idle with the needle on 1. We are going to due an oil pressure test on it though, to confirm or disprove our theory.
