Not quite living up to the reputation of "the ultimate driving machine"....

or he'd just seen too many movies where the homicidal bad guys drive older benzes; beverly hills cop series, mulhalland drive (how do you spell that?), the transporter (a clearly pro-bmw, anti-benz movie...the hero drives a bmw 7 series and the bad guys drive mercedes), just to name a few off the top of my head.
