Texas is part of tornado alley, so we see our share...
...btw, hurricane strength is measured as categories (i.e. Category 1,2,3...the higher the number, the stronger the winds).
Tornados are measured with an "F" factor. F1 - F5 with a 5 having the highest winds.
Moore OK got an F5 about 7 years ago...saw the damage a few weeks later while driving through...amazing what those winds can do!
