A 2k Golf I'm still running

The Beetle needed MAF replacement, the Golf twice. Each needed injection pump replacement (the Beetle within and the Golf after warranty).
The golf, w/ auto trans., needed a new transmission control module JUST before the warranty expired. numerous other electrical issues I can't recall (oh, yes, a new dash cluster for the Beetle)...
