A few questions,

1, I have a '96 C36 i need of some new tires. Since the wheels on it are a bit scratched up from the previous owner, I was thinking about instead of just getting new tires getting new tires and wheels, specifically new 18" AMG Aero II Monoblocks. According to Tire Rack's Wheel Rack it says 18x8 (f) and 18x9 (r) will fit on my car. Is this true? Will any wider on the back fit or is 9 pretty much the limit?

2, When I get my CLK55 I would like to be able to put these wheels on it. Again, according to the wheel rack, the same size (18x8, 18x9) will fit on the CLK430 (which has the same tire/wheel size as my car and should be the same as the 55). Is this figuring in a different offset or anything?

3, What tire size would I need for these 18's?
