W115 240D speedometer error?
I noticed that my 240D mileage is very low. Other than signs that the engine is tired, the speed and fuel economy dont' make sense.
The 4th shift point on the car says 83mph. Shouldn't it be 88-89mph? I thought the 220D cars had a 83mph speedo. I suspect the odometer was replaced. Would this affect the speed being in a 240D as opposed to a 220D?
The car also has 205-70R14 tires that the PO put on so they are slightly higher profile. Any guesses what the total correction should be for the speedometer/odometer?
