After looking more into it, I realized that the 265/35/18 might not be a bad option. If you go with the wider 18s in the rear and get you tires rolled, then their is a snow tire in 265/35/18 and also, as I found myself to be wrong, there is a snow tire in 225/40/18. So Using this setup would alow for the 18s from the C36 to be transferred to your CLK55 with the Snow tire setup ready to go.
