Yeah, I wouldn't go any more than 255 in back. If the supercharged K43 got by with 255/40R17 - why would you need more rubber? The tuners stay with 225 up front, also. If you need more grip go with a better tire - properly inflated!

I find I can't run less than 40 psi up front - or i chew up the side wall. For autocross i run 48 psi up front. For the rear i use 39 psi street and 42 psi for autox.
