The number two most stupid thing I've ever done while working on a car happened today. While troubleshooting a no-shutoff issue on my buddy's '79 TD, I started the car with the oil-pressure line to the gauge disconnected. What a mess. Anybody have an extra driver's-side, tobacco carpet laying around? The interior on this car is pretty pristine, so it would have to be in nice shape.... Please pm me if you can help me on this one.
