The backrest has always not worked but last weekend on a trip the seat was moved back for something and it will not move foreward. It seems like cleaning the switch worked for many when I did a search. You can however hear a click under the seat when you move the switch would would seem to suggest that the switch is sending power to somewhere under the seat where the prob. is. Right?
Also any tricks on getting the seat out when it is stuck almost all the way back? Im guessing just a 10mm ratcheting wrench and plenty of time.
