I have nothing against the Jewish people. I have something against our policy toward Israel and the way Israel treats Palestine.

after wwII the united nations commission on palestine (unscop) was, well, commissioned to study how best to handle the growing number of jewish refugees in the area. the majority opinion was a split state between israel and the palestinians. unfortunately, the arab populations were so "cooperative" in their treatment of this matter they refused to even come to the negotiations. read theodore herzl's book "the labyrinth of exile" for a comprehensive description of the need for and creation of the state of israel.

"On June 13, 1947, the Arab Higher Committee cabled the U.N. and declared that after consideration of the situation "they resolved that Palestine Arabs should obstain from collaboration and desist from appearing before the Special Committee."
"On July 10, UNSCOP sent a communication to the Arab Higher Committe requesting that it reconsider its decision and cooperate with the UNSCOP investigation. Three days later UNSCOP received a letter from the Arab Higher Committee stating they saw no reason to reverse it previous decision. The Jewish Agency, on the other hand, did provide representation to the UNSCOP meetings when invited."
it is also interesting to note that more palestinian land was annexed by trans-jordanian kings than has ever been by isreal and yet no one seems to mind that.
