The battery light comes on when I turn the key all the way off. It turns on every time. It only turns off when the key is turned past the mid-point click. To check if it was draining any juice, let the car sit for about 4 hrs., then turned it over, nothing. I hooked up the charger and boosted it to start. I took it for a 15 min. ride. When I got back I shut the car off and tried to restart, nothing. Remembering that I had a new voltage regulator that I haven't installed yet, I replaced it. I then boosted the battery to start again, took it for a 10 min. ride, shut it off and then tried to restart. It started just fine. BUT the battery light is still coming on when the key is all the way off!!!!
Has anyone had an experience similar to this? Any suggestions on where to start?
P.S. I just replaced the ignition switch, so I doubt this is the problem.
