As for her being quoted as a saying that Bush caused Katrina. That is just plain silly. Some maroon on this forum claimed I said the same thing. Naturally I never said ANY such thing, and when asked to show me where I said it, he was a no-so.

My point people are deperate to make a case for Bush. They will lie, can say you said things that you never said to make his cause stand.

Did Bush cause Katrina, duh, no. Did his wasteful, mis-management of OUR tax dollars make a bad thing MUCH MUCH worse? No doubt about it. Had those levees been taller, and better maintained and fortified, the damage would have been much less. Instead we filled the war chest and mailed the check to Haliburton and company when the people of the state of LA needed it more.
