I live in a very rural area with several 10 car used car dealers and such but there is one that always has an MB or BMW on the lot. A friend of mine was there so I stopped in and they had a 96 e300 td in a shed covered with dust with the head removed. Apparently someone that didn't know what they were doing and installed the cam incorrectly, witch led to valve crash and the whole nine yards. The pistons wre checked out and the head was rebuilt all it needs is new cams and that plasic thing that guides the timing chain.He will sell me the car for $6000 it has 60K miles and is in very good condition.
