It could be a good deal. I think a short block for my 603 is like $4k, so a 606 can't be to far off.

Talk to Phil about the cam's I bet they are like $200-$300 each. The plastic part for the tensioner is probably cheap. If thats all it needs you could probably get it running for under $1k.

$7k for a 50k miles E300D is a great deal!
