I hope this does not sound cruel or demeaning to anyone. With all the talks about saving countless of hurricane and flooded victims, please let no one forget to donate to save the animals as well. I know a lot of our members are dog lovers. I was watch the news the other night and saw a dog was stranded on the porch and the rescue worker in the boat just ignored it. I also saw rescue workers picked up people stranded on the roof top but left the family's pet behind. I know saving human lifes is important, but just becasue they are animals and they don't deserve to die such an agonizing death as starvation and thirst. Please make an effort to save the animals as their lives are just as precious.

With all the deaths and destructions around us, it's easy to forget the little fur babies that bring us so much joy when time is good. Please make an effort not to let these little guys suffer.
