I did a Google check on my Gateway G6-333c for memory requirements and found that only a specific memory stick will work for my PC. I believe there is installed two 64mb sticks that equal together 128mb. It says that I can add two 128's to get 256. Another site I looked at, said there were three slots and I could add three 128's for a total of 384MB. No 512 sticks are available for this PC.
With exception to Google Earth, a satellite photographic imagery of earth, I am OK with my current 128mb, but can still access Google Earth, but it takes for ever to download imagery. I've already played with Google Earth on my girlfriends 256mb PC and the novelty has worn off........Soooo I guess I'll stick with what I've got for now....Thanks for the offer anyway......Busy
