When one claims to have a superior political philosophy to the opposition, dead bodies are quite an embarrassment. A political philosophy that results in old women in wheelchairs dying of starvation and neglect over a period of a week is going to have a hard time finding support except among those who are the most ardent True Believers. Myself, I am quite happy that they continue to attempt to support what most people now see as rank idiocy with their "its not my yob, man" arguments. The voters will finally drive these people from office, out of pure disgust.
