i agree with larry. but i love diesels.

that said the recent cdi diesels really are a huge advance over the older diesels like our beloved 616 617.

my 03 dodge cummins with six manual gets almost as good a mileage as my 350sdl and has double the power! it is also quiet and almost no smoke.

i have a little over 40k on it and the oil is not close to black yet. love that beast. wish they made a 3/4 scale model and a half scale too,
