Had the same thing happen to my Ford Powerstroke. Didn't think of using motor oil.... ..... I think that is a great idea. My tank was virtually empty, when approx. 1.5 gal of gas was introducted to the tank. We filled remainder of tank with diesel and everything was fine. If it were mine I would add the qt. of motor oil and top off tank w/ diesel.
