Dear Webmaster,

My belt tensioner on my 98 e320 seized up today and threw tthe belt. I
have
bought a new tensioner and belt and want to replace them, but I don't
know
the threading pattern to use to attach the belt to the pulleys. Also,
there
is a large pin sticking out from my new tensioner and I don't know what
it
is (it looks like a temporary pin, not something permanent..maybe it is
supposed to help me align something???) I have never done this before,
but I
am great at following directions. I have already removed the old belt
and
tensioner but I need a diagram of how the belt goes around the pulleys
and I
don't know what to do about the pin sticking out of the new pulley. I
hope
someone out there can help, I'm running out of daylight.
Sincerely,
Earl Jones
