As Greg mentioned, the 240, especially in an automatic, will try the patience of even the most calm and collected drivers. I would advise against this vehicle if you live anywhere near a major metropolitan area with significant traffic.

The SD, with almost double the horsepower, is no screamer and will easily get blown off the road by just about all the new gassers. But, it's got sufficient power for daily use.

Make sure you drive it and determine if the lack of power is acceptable for you. If you have any doubts, consider a 300D with a turbo.
