i just converted a 300sd over to a two tank system i primed the diesel side of the loop realized that i forgot to install the inline filter on the shared last leg prior to the lift pump after installing the inline filter i saw a few aluminium filings from the metal fuel line in the filter and realized i had pumped metal filings into the ip
i have not started the car
question 1 is there a screen in the pump?
question 2 if not is there a fuel plug to drain the ip or what should i do
noticed a plug looking thing facing the motor on the front of the ip with an allen fitting is their an easy way to remedy this thanks for looking
