How to remove spray paint off plastic?

A while ago I smoked the lenses around my headlights and would now like to remove what I did in order make the fog lights brighter. I have heard that Pine-Sol works well but I'm not sure. I don't want to scratch or warp the plastic. Does anyone know of any methods or products that work well.

In the past I have used a small amount of toothpaste on a soft cloth to polish plastic lenses. You might give that a try.

McGuires makes some plastic polish that is pretty good.
